Tomlinson
Ties Record
Lenny
Moore, move over and make room for LaDainian Tomlinson.
With
a 35-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter of San
Diego’s contest at Oakland, Tomlinson tied Moore’s
40-year-old NFL record for consecutive games with a touchdown.
The scoring grab made the 18th-consecutive contest in
which Tomlinson has found the end zone. Moore’s
record streak was set from 1963-65 when the Hall of Famer
played with the Baltimore Colts.
Tomlinson
also extended his record streak for rushing touchdowns
in consecutive games to 18 with a seven-yard run in the
opening quarter.
